singer and musician Diego Berti died on Friday after falling from the 14th floor of a building in the Miraflores district of Lima.
Bertie, 54, became known in the art world as a performer for the Peruvian band Images.
His foray into music took place in 1986. Then he was discovered and entered the world of soap opera, theater and cinema.
He debuted in Rosa de America in 1988 and later became a part of Peruvian series such as El Hombre Que Debé Morir.
Bertie also participated in other popular productions,
Lionella, Dying for Love, Things of Love, Los Excitosos Gomes, El Fondo He Sitio and De Vuelta El Barrio.
